Hot Off the Grill

Wine and Chocolate Dinner- Truly Unbelievable!

Picture the Ballroom set with a serpentine table. Hear the pianist playing wonderful back-ground music. Enjoy the company of good friends. Savor the outstanding food prepared by Executive Chef Adam Soliwoda and his talented staff. Imbibe wines from Argentina, Spain and California selected by David Brause of Slocum & Sons to complement the dishes. It's a recipe for success!

Clay Gordon, the author of newly released Discover Chocolate, the Ultimate Guide to Buying, Tasting and Enjoying Fine Chocolate, was more than pleased with the Wine and Chocolate Dinner held at the Club on November 15th. Communicating with Adam, Clay said, "I just want to let you know that last night blew way past any expectations I might have about the menu, presentation, preparation, and execution. Of the three chocolate/wine dinners I've done since the release of my book, last night's was by far the best. It's hard to know what the best dish was, they all had their individual high points and the chocolate was an important part of each dish, neither hiding in the background nor over-poweringly present." To Chet, he wrote, "The room was lovely, the service attentive…,and the food was beyond what I expected. It was by far the most imaginative and the best prepared and executed." [Of the three chocolate/wine dinners previously mentioned].
Sincere thanks go to Chet Chicosky, Adam Soliwoda and his crew, and to John Ruggiero for planning and producing this wonderful event. May there be many more!

Giving Thanks
Another year and more turkey with all the trimmings went into lots of members' tummies. As always, Adam and his crew did a bang up job of making Thanksgiving Dinner superb for all who chose to dine at the Club. He also made it easier for those who wished to have a "take out" turkey with all the trimmings. Our thanks truly go to Adam and his talented
kitchen staff.
