The Lawn Club is a home away from home for our members and a great place to take part in the things you like to do with your friends and family. We offer social activities throughout the year, both regularly scheduled programs and happenings for special occasions.
Our Book Club
Many of our members are avid readers and enjoy the company of other like-minded individuals to discuss good books. Our Book Club focuses on a particular work each month and our selections cover a wide range of genres by both classic and contemporary authors. Members meet once a month in the evening for light refreshment and great dialogue.
Monthly Bridge Night
A night out for cards with fellow members is a great way to spend an evening now and then. Bridge players of all skill levels are invited to come and partake in a challenging game while enjoying the company of your Club family. Light refreshments and cocktails will be enjoyed by all.
First Friday Happy Hour
The First Friday of every month we invite members to come out and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and cocktail specials. Bring a prospective member and enjoy a complimentary beverage! Make it a whole night and stay for the Friday Night Family Buffet!
Friday Night Family Buffet
Our weekly sold out buffet is a warm and welcoming place to enjoy dinner with friends and family. The Grill Room is a great place to bring families and members together for great food, company, and conversation.
Friday Night Kids Events
During the Friday Night Family Buffet there is kid friendly activity. Each week feature different activities such as movies, games, Legos, crafts, and entertainment nights. This gives children a chance to have fun while parents can relax and socialize.
Art Shows & Opening Receptions
Every month the Lawn Club sponsors a new local or member artist for a showing in our Grill Room Rotunda. Each show opens with a Club reception for members and their guests to enjoy the new works on display. Enjoy good conversation and partake in cocktails and the hors d’oeuvres served by our own New Haven Lawn Club Catering.
Holiday Celebrations, Dinners, and Entertainment
