The Lawn Club mansion is rich with unique architectural details. Visitors enter the foyer through a vaulted portico, archways, and columns made of the local red brick. Octagonal windows look out over the manicured Lawn Club grounds. A brilliant Lalique crystal starburst chandelier graces the foyer and working fireplaces are found all throughout the building. The New Haven Lawn Club is home to several spacious event rooms and our magnificent ballroom for all kinds of special occasions.
Our New Haven Lawn Club Catering service provides a wide array of taste sensations, from cocktail party hors d’oeuvres to a sumptuous wedding banquet. The Ball Room “Of the many practices I learned at Disney, exceeding guests’ expectations was most certainly at the top, this is simply my goal with every guest, every day.” One of the Lawn Club’s shining stars is our magnificent Grand Ballroom. This is our largest event space, comfortably hosting 225 guests for weddings, corporate functions, concerts, and holiday balls. The Ballroom is graced with a barrel ceiling for perfect acoustics, a stage for all kinds of performances, and hard wood floors made for dancing. This event space is rich with the details that create true character, including a Terrazzo entryway and elegant, inviting fireplace. |

The Main Dining Room Our Main Dining Room is a roomy and versatile space seating up to 120 guests in welcoming surroundings. Two wood burning fireplaces mirror each other at opposite ends of the hall, with a vast expanse of terrazzo flooring between them. Floor to ceiling windows offer views of the Lawn Club grounds and the attached terrace overlooks our tennis courts. The Private Dining Room Perfect for intimate gatherings and business meetings, the private dining room seats 40 guests in a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy the culinary delights of our Club Catering Service while enjoying the company of friends in front of our warm and cozy fireplace. Members’ Room Comfortably seating 15 guests, the Lower Card Room, or ‘Members Room’ hosts our monthly bridge nights and is perfect for card parties and intimate luncheons. This warm and welcoming room is graced with a wood burning fireplace, vintage pictures and details, and emanates a traditional club atmosphere. The Lounge A bright, airy, and open layout makes our Club Lounge the perfect place for up to 80 guests to mingle, dine, and enjoy the occasion. The room features rich wood paneling and a beautiful wood-burning fireplace. The attached terrace adds even more space and overlooks the action on the Club’s eight tennis courts. |
