We believe the New Haven Lawn Club should be a home away from home for every member of the family, from age one to one hundred. The Club has several regular family and children’s activities for our members to enjoy. Check out our Club Summer Camps page for great programs that keep your kids active and learning during the school vacation. Many other offerings are available year round for our member families with children.

Friday Family Night Buffet

Every Friday is our family night buffet at the Club Grill Room. Kids enjoy a buffet full of delicious and nutritious choices geared toward young families in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A singles table will be available for you and your children on Friday evenings, please call to reserve a space at the table.

Movie Nights

Every other Friday night, we offer movies for our youngest members in the Rotunda. Children can eat at the Family Buffet before joining us for a supervised evening of entertainment. Parents can take advantage of a couple of free hours to enjoy a quiet dinner for two.

Summer Pool Parties The Lawn Club sponsors several pool parties with different themes throughout the summer season complete with a complimentary ice cream sundae bar. Enjoy your family and friends for a day of fun in the sun, good food, good people, and lots of splashing fun for the little ones. Father Daughter Dinner Dance A long held tradition at the Lawn Club, our Father Daughter Dinner Dance is a wonderful opportunity for young ladies to enjoy being the belle of the ball. Enjoy a special evening with your daughter and make memories you both will remember for a very long time. Join other member families for an evening of good food and fun, and the chance for the club’s young ladies to shine.

Easter Egg Hunt

Our annual Easter Egg Hunt on the Clubhouse lawn is fun for kids of all ages, and a great photo opportunity for parents!

Mother’s Day Dinner

One of our most popular celebrations of the year, our Mother’s Day Dinner brings together families with little ones, mothers with grown children, and all kinds of moms and the people who love them. Our Executive Chef will prepare a banquet for our member families that will not soon be forgotten. Make your reservations early for this very popular event.

Halloween Costume Party

Our Halloween Party is a wonderful time for member families every year. Enjoy good food, games, and entertainment with all ages. We welcome all Ghouls, Ghosts, Princesses, Power Rangers, and Space Aliens to join us for a night of howling good times and our traditional costume parade!

Family Thanksgiving Feast

Give thanks and welcome in the harvest at the New Haven Lawn Club this year. What a great way to spend this great American holiday, visiting and feasting with your family and friends in a warm and festive atmosphere. Even better, our Chef is doing the cooking this year, and no dishes for you to worry about either! Reserve your family’s place at the Thanksgiving table early.

Winter Holiday Party

When the snow starts falling, it’s time to look forward to the Club Holiday Party. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Chanukah, or any other tradition, all will feel welcome at our winter celebration. Our own Chef Soliwoda will put on a feast to tempt even Ebenezer Scrooge.

Family New Year’s Party

Our casual family New Year’s Eve Party solves a common dilemma for many families with children: how to celebrate the New Year in style and ensure the kids have a good time, too. Join us for an early celebration with other member families and guests for a casual, safe affair close to home.
